Welcome to Spirit Spit, the Spirit of Hope coffeehouse and open mic every second Sunday of the month from 5-8 pm.  Come and share your writings of a spiritual or social nature.  Sing something.  Read or sing someone else’s work.  Featured artists from all over Detroit have blessed us with their presence as well, including Audra Kubat and Blair.

 

We wish for this to be a safe and uplifting time to share your works, perhaps for the first time.  Our small chapel, the Chapel of St. James, serves as an intimate and artistic space to gather and hear friends and strangers share their own thoughts, journeys and hopes.
